NECC Clinic — Dubai

The New England Center for Children’s^® (NECC^®) Clinic in Dubai, located in Dubai Healthcare City, strives to contribute to this vibrant community by providing world-class services to both children and adults of determination. Our services, which are grounded in more than 45 years of research conducted by NECC, are designed to ensure the best possible outcome for our clients.

Intake Assessment

Intake Assessments (IA) are carried out by a team of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), a Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP) and an Occupational Therapist (OT), as deemed appropriate. The team will conduct a comprehensive records review, meet with parents, caregivers and/or school staff as appropriate, and complete a direct assessment of the child. Following completion of the IA, the Clinic supervisory team will recommend a course of treatment required for successful program development. Components of the program are subject to change, pending client progress or re-evaluation throughout the course of treatment.

Clinic-based

Clients who attend the NECC Clinic will receive an individualized applied behavior analysis (ABA) treatment plan, which includes speech and language and occupational therapy services, as deemed appropriate. All programs are developed and implemented by a team of fully trained and supervised behavior analysts, speech and language pathologists (SLP), occupational therapists (OT), and Registered Behavior Technicians® (RBT®) during weekly ABA sessions (when applicable). Quarterly meetings, parent/caregiver training, and scheduled observations will take place at the Clinic.

Home, school and community-based sessions will be made available based on measurable performance and clinical recommendations.

Consultation Services

Consultation services involve a BCBA, a SLP and an OT, as deemed appropriate, who will provide direct supervisory support to families, caregivers, and school teams. Support may be delivered in the form of training, positive behavior support strategies, clinical support, and guidance with decision making related to client needs, and collaboration with the family and any other agencies involved in the client’s team. Consultation is delivered in the settings clinically deemed to be most appropriate for ensuring client progress and success, and services will be faded out appropriately.
